Creation of the Easter Egg “Way”

Everything in life is not accidental and everything happens in its own time, and always according to the readiness of the thinking mind.

A month ago, I was offered to be a part of the festival in the art-performance “Original Pysanka” organised by “Folk Ukraine” www.folkukraine.com In one week before Easter day 2016, 374 eggs will be exhibited on St. Sophia Square, Kiev, Ukraine. 374 artists from Ukraine created 374 Easter eggs in their original technique.

Everyone has their own vision of the world and, of course, everyone has their own story, their victories, defeats, and have his personal experience, which gives rise to certain thoughts. When I got by the mail the blank plastic egg, my friend asked me: “Do you have the idea for this painting?” and I said: “The form will tell me about the content by itself.”

Very often, I create my artworks where I display the future, which, in my opinion, needs to happen. This occurs involuntarily. But in this work, there is no past, present or future. This is a story that shows the unity of time. The painting “Way” describes the events of the creation of human coexistence model, whose main objective is the attainment of harmony in the Universal space. Form of the egg perfectly allowed me to display the rhythm alters the way. Each of us sees the world from the place where he is standing and this applies both to the physical location and the spiritual as well.

The painting presents different images of animals, they are portrayed in the infantile symbolic manner, where there is not too much a realistic reality. This selected style helps to return to the distant of childhood and discover the simple shapes and to find the answers in the simple questions. To find the place where there is goodness, love, friendship, protection, assistance, vulnerability, loyalty, courage and honor.

The life is very interesting. It has many faces and sometimes it seems so complex, because the puzzles are stretched for centuries. It is interesting for those who are looking for those who never stops dreaming. The Way is full of searching, reflection, action and it’s worth remembering that mistakes are just part of the way. But if your actions will be understood by you, then your path will lead you through all your mistakes in the right place. There, where the path becomes clear. Simply go to the light to follow for the star.
